Connecting Artistry, Storytelling, and Real Life
From the stage to the screen to the classroom, my work lives in the moments that connect people, spark emotion, and remind us why we create.
Onstage
My life onstage has always been where art and truth meet. I’ve built a career that bridges the worlds of musical theatre, storytelling, and human connection from classic revivals to new works in development.
I’ve performed across the country and abroad, including regional theatre and multiple productions at sea. Favorite roles include Millie in Thoroughly Modern Millie, Sally in Cabaret (twice), Caroline in Titanic, Princess Fiona in Shrek, Alison Bechdel in Fun Home (twice), and Janet Van Der Graaf in The Drowsy Chaperone.
I’m drawn to characters with depth — women navigating transformation, identity, and resilience. Whether comedic or dramatic, I love exploring roles that challenge expectations and reveal something true about what it means to be human.
Recent highlights include originating the role of Agatha in The Fulfillment (NYC workshop) and developing Willa in Ryan Scott Oliver’s We Foxes in a San Diego workshop production.
These stories remind me why I perform: to connect people, move emotion into action, and give voice to experiences that deserve to be seen and heard.
On-Camera & Commercial
My on-camera work reflects the same truth-driven storytelling I bring to the stage — grounded, expressive, and connected. Whether I’m filming a national campaign, a digital short, or brand content, I approach each project with intention and ease.
Recent collaborations include commercials, branded lifestyle content, and narrative projects that highlight authentic human stories. I love the blend of artistry and collaboration that camera work demands finding nuance in every frame and connecting with audiences beyond the theatre.
I’m drawn to creative teams who value professionalism, play, and purpose. My work spans both performance and production, from acting and voiceover to directing and creating user-generated content for brands.
Each on-camera opportunity is an extension of what I believe: storytelling can be both art and business and when done with authenticity, it inspires connection everywhere it’s seen.
From Academia to Creative Reinvention
Helping educators and artists evolve together in a digital world.
For nearly a decade, I taught musical theatre, acting, directing, audition technique, and the business of performance at universities and colleges across the country most recently at the University of California, Irvine’s Claire Trevor School of the Arts. My classes ranged from studio courses to lecture halls of ninety students, covering everything from musical theatre history and scene study to career strategy and creative entrepreneurship.
During that time, I became a leading resource for educators transitioning to online teaching. My YouTube channel grew to more than ten thousand subscribers in just a few months as I created training tutorials and free workshops for professors learning to teach through Canvas LMS — the primary learning management system used worldwide. Those videos continue to reach educators today, helping artists and academics adapt their teaching for a digital age.
I also developed curriculum and training models for community colleges in Southern California, helping institutions design pathways that bridge two-year programs with bachelor’s degrees in theatre. These programs gave students a clear and equitable route into performing, directing, teaching, and arts management careers.
Known for my structured, outcomes-based approach to performance pedagogy, I’ve also spoken at national conferences on how educators can design effective rubrics, assess subjective art forms, and better prepare students for a creative life that extends far beyond the classroom.
Today, I draw from that academic foundation to help educators, artists, and institutions reimagine what success in the arts looks like — connecting rigorous training with real-world artistry, modern tools, and sustainable creative careers.

Vision in Motion
Directing, choreography, and creative leadership that bring stories to life.
My work as a director and creative leader blends classic storytelling with a cinematic visual style. I’m drawn to productions that invite audiences to see familiar stories in a new light, concept driven, emotionally layered, and grounded in human connection.
From reimagining Little Women as a living storybook bathed in ethereal blues to staging American Idiot as an immersive rock concert with the band built into the set, I love exploring how design, music, and performance merge to transform a story’s impact.
I’m especially passionate about directing works that center complex women, stories of resilience, identity, and reinvention. My approach emphasizes collaboration, trust, and clarity, ensuring every performer feels supported to take creative risks.
Beyond the stage, I’ve developed and led intensive performance workshops that guide artists back into their craft, focusing on acting through song, ensemble storytelling, and artistic rediscovery. These programs, whether weeklong or monthlong, often culminate in showcases that remind performers why they fell in love with the work in the first place.
For me, directing is an act of both artistry and mentorship — a way to shape narratives that move people while nurturing the artists who bring them to life. This same creative clarity now shapes how I coach, collaborate, and help others bring their visions to life onstage and beyond.
Bridging Artistry and Education
Speaking and workshops that connect creativity, clarity, and the evolving industry.
For nearly two decades, I’ve led masterclasses, workshops, and speaking engagements designed to bridge the gap between traditional arts education and the modern creative world. I’m passionate about helping performers, educators, and creative professionals learn how to build careers that are not only artistic but sustainable and aligned with who they’ve become.
My sessions range from interactive workshops on topics like website design for performers and personal branding in the digital age, to speaking engagements on modern teaching, creative entrepreneurship, and the evolving role of educators in today’s industry. Whether in person or on Zoom, I focus on giving participants practical tools, real-world clarity, and the confidence to navigate the ever-changing creative landscape.
As a Circle member and digital mentor, I guide clients and students in building their own Squarespace websites by teaching them how to manage and evolve their online presence rather than relying on someone else to do it. My approach blends artistry with strategy, helping educators and performers embrace new technology, modern pedagogy, and digital confidence without losing the heart of what makes their work unique.
I’ve spoken at conferences, led panels, and collaborated with universities across the country on topics like reimagining curriculum, developing interactive training tools, and supporting educators as they transition into online or hybrid teaching models. Each experience is tailored to the community with a balance of insight, conversation, and creative action steps.
If you’re looking for a speaker or workshop leader who can connect creative purpose with practical growth, I’d love to collaborate on something meaningful for your students, faculty, or organization.
Creating in the Digital Space
YouTube, content, and community that connect creativity, confidence, and real life.
What began as a way to help educators and artists navigate a changing world has evolved into a digital platform that bridges artistry, mindset, and entrepreneurship. Through my YouTube channel and online content, I share practical tools and deeper conversations about creative alignment helping performers and artist-entrepreneurs think, choose, and create in ways that feel authentic, sustainable, and fully their own.
My channel has always carried my name because it’s rooted in who I am: a working artist, mentor, and educator sharing what it means to build a creative life with clarity and intention. Early on, I helped professors and performers transition to online learning and digital auditions. Today, that mission has evolved into guiding creatives toward confidence, energy management, and emotional clarity as they shape modern multi-stream careers.
From creative entrepreneurship to performance mindset, every video reflects what I teach in my own life — that sustainable success isn’t just about what you do, it’s about who you become.
Creating Beyond the Stage
Because artistry doesn’t end when the curtain falls — it evolves with you.
My work has always been about connection — between art and life, vision and action, courage and clarity. Whether I’m on stage, behind a camera, or coaching creatives one-on-one, my purpose is the same: to help artists and entrepreneurs live, work, and create in alignment with who they truly are.
I believe the modern creative career isn’t built through hustle, but through awareness, energy, and intention. It’s about learning to think, choose, and lead from a grounded place — so that your artistry, business, and wellbeing all thrive together.
